Ronaldo: Mourinho won't quit Real
Cristiano Ronaldo is convinced Jose Mourinho will remain Real Madrid manager next season - even if he fails to stop rivals Barcelona from winning La Liga.
The Portuguese coach has been involved in a public spat with Madrid general director Jorge Valdano, hinting that he would like to return to the Premier League.
Mourinho won two Premier League titles as Chelsea coach between 2003 and 2007, but Ronaldo does not see him leaving next term.
"It is perfect. It is a top coach and he's used to pressure," said Ronaldo. "He's going to do very well in Madrid. He is not going to go, he will be here with us."
Mourinho joined Real last summer after leading Inter Milan to the treble, including success in winning the Champions League.
Real are seven points behind Barcelona having suffered a 5-0 loss to Pep Guardiola's side at the Camp Nou in November.
Ronaldo is confident his side can exact revenge in their next meeting on April 16 before they face Barca in the Spanish Cup final on April 20 in Valencia.
"The 5-0 against Barcelona was one of the most difficult to overcome defeats me race, but there are good things out of that defeat," said Ronaldo. "I'll learn a lot from it and not making the same mistakes.
"Mourinho knows how to win against them. and we have an idea. The coach knows what the best strategy to win and I am sure we will win the Cup final."
